I’ve had the heart of an entrepreneur, writer and artist for as long as I can remember. I have saved a box of my childhood drawings and writings, many of which were business ideas for restaurants, children’s books, and magazine articles. I’ve always been a creative dreamer. I married my high school sweetheart soon after school and we started a family young. Motherhood to my four children has been my biggest passion for more than a decade, and has taught me all of the most wonderful things life has to offer. Capturing the memories of their childhood, paired with captions that painted a picture of who we were in the snapshot of life, showed me how beautiful social media could be.
Over the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge on social media strategy, photography and content creation, and pursued a career that is creative and helpful for my community while still being present for my four children. So I reached out to a local business in Philomath to see if they were in need of a social media manager. All it took was one business to believe in my skill, communication, planning and creation for me to embrace the art of social media and expand my reach to other local businesses in the South Willamette Valley where we live.
Corvallis is such a fun, unique community where we have innovative college kids, happy young families, blossoming business owners and joyful retirees all living together in a valley surrounded by the most beautiful hills and mountains in Oregon. From the Davinci Days Kinetic Races to the Farmer’s Market to Beaver Football, our little community has all the facets of a beautiful, quaint PNW town with a lot of innovation and expansion.
